How we make it
We start every Arc with a walnut blank chosen so the grain runs the full length of the piece, then turn the profile by hand and shape the gentle curve so it follows the grain instead of cutting across it.
From there it’s patience: sanding through every grit to 1000 and beyond, then several thin coats of body-safe finish, each one levelled by hand and fully cured before the piece leaves our bench. Walnut’s chocolate tones deepen under the gloss, and the figure in yours will be its own.
Why this shape works
The Arc’s gentle bow follows the body’s natural angle, so it finds the G-spot or prostate with very little effort on your part. It’s the shape we reach for when someone asks for a classic that simply works.
At 1.5" at its widest it feels satisfyingly full without being a challenge, the rounded tip makes the first moments easy, and the flared base gives you a secure grip and a reliable stop.
Every piece is turned by hand from its own blank, so the grain, color and figure of yours will be unique. No two are ever exactly alike.
